Hi, there's not much to write about but I'll probably find things as I go along. See? I already have a full sentence written.Blank mind.Oh!! I can't believe I almost forgot! there's a button at the top of my blog that says: next blog, when you click it it sends you to a random blog. this afternoon I clicked it and got a blog written completely in Spanish!! I only glanced at the title and didn't even bother with the rest because even though I've taken Spanish class twice I've never caught on and so I only know a couple basic words. oh well. Earlier my Little brother needed a band-aid. He loves Thomas the train so we have some Thomas band-aids for him. Sir Topham Hat is the mayor of the town Thomas lives in here's what Mom and Micah were saying.
Mom:"Do you want Thomas or Sir Thopham Hat?
Micah: "I don't like Sir Thopham Hat, I always think he's real!!
Me:"Ahh, there's a person on my toe! Oh wait, it's just my band-aid.
Like it? Mom's been looking for a babysitter and we found one, a 14 year old girl named Amy. She seemes really nice. Alright, I have to go now, we have to go to the bank,(at least we get suckers,)and the library, YYYEEEEEAAAAAYYYY

snoring problems
The funniest thing happened last night! I have a bad habit of staying up late to finish whatever book I'm reading, ( last night it was about 11:00 before I got to sleep.) Anyway, I had just turned off the light when I thought I heard thunder in the distance. I looked out the window, no lightning to be seen. I listened for a minute then realised it was dad snoring in the next room!!=:-) Crazy huh? Oh well at least it's better than the time we were all sleeping in the same room (I can't remember why,) and mom and dad were both snoring like foghorns, at least it seemed like it, I actually had to go out of the room at one point it was so bad. You can imagine I didn't get much sleep that night. On to a different train of thought I have been playing with my 2 younger siblings quite a bit lately mom's been at work, and dad's had to work third shift, so he's had to sleep and I 've had to take care of the little kids which is sometimes the most fun you can imagine, but other times? Let me use a face (my specialty!) to describe it -( Like it?? To entertain them one day I got out one of my books that I thought they might like, the good news, they did!! The bad news, they did, because now they won't stop begging me to read more!!! Oh well it's my own fault, anyway that's all I have to write about for now
see ya!!
P.S. the name of the book Is FREDDY GOES TO FLORIDA, and it's great for much older kids as well as little ones. It's part of a series of books by Walter R. Brooks. Have fun reading!!
P.P.S. Freddy is a pig.

Queen Ann
Hi,
Sorry I havn't written in a while. I either haven't had anything to write about or I didn't feel like it. Anyway, I had a lot of fun at my grandparents house, we went swimming a couple times after my last post and we also went putt-putt golfing 1 more time. I posted another section of my story today too, hope you enjoy it! Gotta go now, I want to look at my friend Cabbie's blog, it's really good and she's been doing it a lot longer than me. I have a link to it labled Queen Ann, it's up in the top left corner.

The Bear
We heard somebody coming! We ran and hid behind a large tree. By then they had come close enough for us to hear what they were saying.
“Come on, hurry up.”
“I can’t my pants are falling down"
“Well, Lieutenant Pierce has a good sling now anyway.”
“I still can’t belive you took my belt like that, it was only a piece of cloth as it is.”
“Exactly, come on lets go back, nobody out here anyway.” The one with a belt grumbled.
“Good idea, my feet are getting wet.” Whined the other one. They tramped away. As soon as they were out of earshot Ara and I let out our suppressed giggles.” “ Oh Lissie,” she panted, we were both weak with laughter, ”I don’t think anything could be funnier!!” “I agree,” I mimicked the ninny soildier “My feet are getting wet. If a fierce butterfly flew across his path he’d probably faint !!” We went off in gales once again.
Finally we calmed down and decided we would sleep in the daytime and walk during the night. So we found a small cave nearby to sleep in. the sky was already rosey with dawn. We went inside and Ara pulled a bearskin out of the basket.
“Here,” she said. “We’ll curl up under this. That way we’ll keep warm, and anyone looking in here will only see a hibernating bear - or so they’ll think.”
“Good idea,” I agreed.
We did as she proposed, and slept quite peacefully until late afternoon. Then we woke to hear someone coming. It was a group of children nearby. We curled up tighter under the skin. We could hear what they were saying now.
“I hope we can find fido.”
“Yeah, me too.”
“He must be so cold.”
I felt sorry for them, and their dog. My sympathy instantly changed to horror as one of the children started toward our cave. My breath stopped coming and Ara tensed considerably next to me.
“I’ll look over here,” the girl was saying.
I had an idea. I nudged Ara and we began breathing in unison. Now, it looked like the “bear” was breathing. In a moment, we heard a scream of “Bear!” I could hardly keep from giggling and giving us away.
“Bear!” she screamed again, and all theother children began running toward the direction from which thay had come. Ara and I could hear a boy sobbing something that made us feel pretty guilty.
“I don’t wanna’ be eaten by a bear,” he was crying as they ran away. Ara and I couldn’t go to sleep after that. So we ate a little bread and huddled under the skin until dark. Then we started off again.

Also Rosa wants me to add that last night she lost a tooth and got a whole of $1.50 WOW!!She is also learning how to swim without floaties and coming along wonderfully!! Today Grandma, Rosa, and I went to the store today and a guy working there bamboozled us into buying a muskmelon. Oh well, it was good. That's all for now,

WEDDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Last night was the wedding! It was the best fun I have had in a long time, the wedding ceremony was beautiful my dad did a great job on it and one of the bridesmaids sang a nice song as part of it.(Which the bride and groom used later for their first dance as husband and wife.) The flower girl (Lily) was very cute, she would take a couple steps, drop about three petals, etc. The ring bearer, Malcolm did a wonderful job, he walked up the isle very carefully and nothing went wrong. =:-) The reception afterwords was wonderful, everybody visited for about an hour and a half, then did toasts and had a very fancy dinner, here's what the menu read:
Assorted breads with butter, ( the butter pats were shaped like a rose and a sun.)
Salad with a choice of raspberry vinaigrette, ranch, or creamy Italian dressings. (I chose creamy Italian.)
Fillet Mignon, teriaki chicken, accompanied by vegetable rice medley and green beans.
And for dessert? Wedding cake of course!!!!
after dinner was the Bride and grooms first dance then a lot of people joined in. dinner started at around 7:00 and we didn't leave until about 10:00. In the meantime I had a ton of fun!! Anyway that is all I have to tell you on here. See ya!

Rehearsal
The wedding rehearsal was today and it went really well. Though my 4 yr. old cousin is the ring bearer and he is always very rambunctious, so I have no idea how we're going to keep him in line. Oh well, the flower girl is so sweet, she is a neice of the bride. The wedding is tommerow and I will keep you updated.=:-)

The Spy
The Spy
Introduction
This story is the tale of my family, the Roberts. It takes place during a very important time, the American Revolution. The main characters in this story are Nicholas: my father, Bella: my mother, Arabella: my twin sister, and I, Adalissa. Mostly my sister and I are referred to as Ara and Lissie. There is also another family member, however, as they are a great surprise to Ara and I, they shall remain unnamed for now. This story takes place in February 1776, just after the battle at Moore’s Creek Bridge in North Carolina. Ara and I were 15 at the time. Please read on and enjoy this tale full of courage, adventure, and a spice of comedy.
The Spy
One cold winter night my twin sister Arabelle and I were fast asleep in bed. Suddenly the bedroom door flew open and our mother Bella Roberts rushed in. “Girls,” she panted “hurry, get up and pack, you have to hurry, the patriots are coming to attack us, we must flee!”Ara and I were already out of bed and dressing, then packing quickly as we could. Mother helped us, talking the whole time. “Here, take a couple of hair ribbons and an extra dress, I’m glad you put on work dresses. And don’t forget a hair brush!! I managed a smile at Ara. No matter what the situation, Mother was still Mother. “Oh and here,” her voice softened, “take this.” I looked over towards her from across the room where I was putting a watch with a mirror on the back into the basket we were packing in.
“Oh, Mother” cried Ara.
Mother was holding a necklace. The necklace was very special to Mother. It was oval-shaped with a man and a woman on it, who were made to look like Mother and Father. They were walking and holding hands. However, it also had two chains spaced evenly, for the necklace was two separate pieces that hooked together on the back. So when you unhooked it, the man and woman’s hands unclasped.
“Why?” I asked.
“Because, girls” Mother replied sadly, undoing the clasp on the back, “your father and I must separate from you. It is us that they are after, especially your father. Lissa, you and Ara will be safer if we go opposite ways.” She walked over to where the basket was on the dresser and put the father side into it. “I’ll keep the side with me on it, so I’ll always remember my two brave daughters. And, if anything ever happens to your father and me, we want you to carry on his work best you can.”
“Alright” Ara and I whispered together.
The work. Our father, Nicholas Roberts, was a strong patriot and a spy for George Washington, himself. Then why, you might ask, were we afraid of patriot soldiers? And why were they coming in the first place? Well, you see, our father never told Washington who he really was. He always signed his letters, “A Friend of the Cause”.
Suddenly, we could hear shouts in the distance.
“Hurry, girls, get dark-colored cloaks and follow me.” We grabbed the chosen cloaks and followed her outside. “Now, I want you to go to your Grandmother Roberts’ house. That way,” She pointed to her left. “hurry, girls, go.” She turned to the right and slipped into the woods that way.
Ara and I looked at each other, then went into the woods the opposite way mother had gone. In the distance we could hear a quiet call.
“Don’t forget to brush your hair!”We giggled and began our trek.
